Mosaic is a type of art created from materials such as fragments of dishes, new and old ceramic tiles.
This mosaic workshop is an introduction to ceramic tile mosaics and is a very complete class. It covers mosaic design, terminology and resources, types of materials , substrates, fixatives, tools and their use, setting, grouting, sealing and finishing. Students will receive handouts covering glossary of terms, resources. All Tools & materials included.
Choose from the following to mosaic for stepping stone 3 or4 day workshop
Large table 24 x24 round pique essiette or ceramic tile 3 or 4 classes until completed
2 included Giant concrete slippers 19 inches by 12 inches and 2 1/2 inches thick.
Four Paws included giant dog paw prints The finished piece measures approximately 13 inches by 13 inches and is 1 1/2 inches thick. These are great to mosaic your own colour and use as a walkway or create paths around your home or garden with.
Table tops shabby chic! One round 24 inch table top
or one 24x24 wall hanging.
